Personal data such as name, title, company name, address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, and other information may be collected from You in order for OSSA to respond to a request for additional information about a product/service or about OSSA. OSSA may also occasionally ask You to complete surveys that we may use for research.
When You purchase or download products from this Site, OSSA may collect your credit card number and its expiration date. As part of the registration process for Registered Service Providers, OSSA may collect personal data such as name, title, company name, address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, and other information.
Before any of the above data are collected, You will be told the purpose for which the data will be used and have the choice of whether to provide such data to OSSA. If this information is required, and if You decide not to provide this information, You will not be able to fully use the features of the Site.
This site does use "cookie" technology and also logs IP addresses and browser information for purposes of system administration, identifying technical difficulties, evaluating traffic patterns and usage of this Site, and otherwise providing content relevant to users of this Site.
Minors (persons under the age of legal competence, which for most countries means under age 18) are not eligible to become Members and may not otherwise use the Site, or submit personal data through the Site.
You hereby agree that OSSA may collect, use, store, maintain, transfer, and delete Your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Except as may be necessary to send you products you have ordered, OSSA will not release personal data protected by Your account name and password, unless (i) releasing such information is otherwise required by applicable law, statute, regulation, ordinance, or court order or (ii) OSSA has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Terms and Conditions of Use or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) OSSA's rights or property, other OSSA users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. The disclosure of personal data as contemplated in this Privacy Policy may be to a party outside the home jurisdiction of the Catalogue User, Member or Visitor. In particular, for Catalogue Users, Members and Visitors based in the European Union, data may be transferred to jurisdictions outside the European Union that may not have equivalent laws and rules to protect personal data. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, You also consent to the transfer of Your personal data to OSSA, its partners, and its clients, some of whom may be overseas, in order to deliver OSSA's services to You.
OSSA reserves the right to use aggregated data (data that are not individually identifiable). Such aggregate uses could include, but are not limited to, evaluation, business analysis, and otherwise meeting OSSA's marketing and business objectives.
Under applicable laws, statutes, regulations, or ordinances, You may have the right to (i) check whether OSSA holds personal data about You, (ii) access such personal data, and (iii) correct any personal data about You that are inaccurate.
If the information You provide through registration changes or becomes inaccurate, please follow the directions below to modify such information:
If You would like OSSA to delete Your Member registration profile from the OSSA database, please send an e-mail message to info@ossa.com , put "Remove" in the subject line of that e-mail, and include Your full name, Your account name, and Your phone number in the body of the message.
To stop receiving e-mails from OSSA, please unsubscribe from the appropriate publication or contact us at info@ossa.com .
All personal data that You provide in the Member registration process are associated with and protected by an account name and password, both of which You choose. You may access Your own information any time [with Your account name and password or] by contacting info@ossa.com . [Only personnel of OSSA may directly access Your personal data provided through registration.]
When You provide personal data to the Site, such data are stored on secured servers that are protected by this Privacy Policy regardless of where they may be located. OSSA takes reasonable steps to protect Your personal data from loss, misuse, or other unauthorized uses, and to remove Your personal data when it is no longer required for its intended purposes. OSSA cannot, however, guarantee that loss, misuse, or unauthorized use will never occur (e.g., that someone will not overcome our security measures), and makes no representations or warranties to this effect.
