NOW RECRUITING MEMBERS FOR SAFETY GROUPS 2009

OSSA is seeking to bring together like-minded, safety-conscious firms from among its membership to develop and plan sustainable prevention programs.  Members will work on common problems and hazards and integrate these solutions into their workplace.

The benefits of participating in Safety Groups are manifold.  Some of these are:

 

• Opportunity to reduce WSIB premiums and receive a collective rebate.  There exists the potential to actually receive an annual rebate cheque from the WSIB.
• Tap into existing best practices of peers
• Tap into OSSA consultants for coaching and other assistance
• Temporarily remove firms from the Workwell Audit list.

 

OSSA has already established three Safety Group chapters with the following trade associations:

 

1. The Toronto Automobile Dealers’ Association
2. The Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors
3. The Greater Toronto Hotels Association

 

OSSA is inviting member firms to register NOW for the relevant Safety Groups.
